This candidate is responsible for conducting periodic reviews of the effectiveness of the Audit & Assurance system and making appropriate recommendations for corrective action to address any identified deficiencies. Additionally, the candidate is responsible for ensuring that the system is adequately maintained and updated in order to align with any changes in service line requirements, as well as the firm's overall objectives.
Responsibilities
- design and implement quality monitoring, firm’s assurance policies and procedures
- identifying deficiencies in the firm's system of quality control
- evaluating identified deficiencies
- communicating identified deficiencies and remedial actions to relevant personnel
- liaise with the Quality Management Team in providing sufficient and appropriate training on identified deficiencies and remedial actions to the firm's personnel.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess professional memberships such as ACCA/ICAEW/CPA
- have a sense of judgment, analytical skills, verbal communication skills, written communication skills, and powers of persuasion
- have a thorough understanding of ISQM 1, including its application and other explanatory material, to understand its objective and to apply its requirements properly
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field
- Able to work independently and as well as a team member.
