We recognise our responsibility for the social impact we have on the community we work and live in. Grant Thornton Malaysia is committed to making a real difference in our community and we had the privilege to help the schools in Port Dickson.

Grant Thornton Malaysia had recently contributed in a CSR project hosted by Lejadi Foundation on 13th February 2020. The event took place in Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampong Gelam in Port Dickson where Dato' Narendra Jasani, Country Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Malaysia and Mr John Lau, Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Penang attended the event with exco members of the firm.

We had the privilege in helping six underprivileged schools consists of three Malay schools, two Chinese schools and one Tamil school receive RM30,000 each for their critical needs such as getting IT equipment, improve classroom facilities and renovation. It was such a joy to see the school principles, teachers and students in smiles knowing that their school is going to be transformed for the better. It was also an honour to be in the presence of Y.B. Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

We are grateful to be part of this meaningful event and we wish all the schools the best.
