Shamir is the Executive Director of our Tax Audit and Investigation Unit and has good rapport and liaison with the tax authority and other government enforcement agencies.
Sector experience
Shamir has more than 20 years experiences in tax audit and investigation works which covers industries like property development, construction, manufacturing, education, logistic and distributors, trading and others.
He is also involved in investigation cases for companies that enjoyed tax exempt status, approved service project under Section 127 of the Income Tax Act 1967, etc.
Apart from the above, Shamir is also involved in tax due diligence for corporate restructuring exercise, Merger and Acquisition (M & A), financial assistance from the Government, etc.
Shamir is a licensed Tax Agent under Section 153 of the Income Tax Act 1967.
