The Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme (SVDP) was first introduced by the
government in the Budget 2019 and was reintroduced in Budget 2023. SVDP 2.0
provides an opportunity for taxpayers to come forward voluntarily to declare their
unreported, under-reported income, overclaimed expenses, real property gains
tax, stamp duty and transfer pricing adjustments. The implementation period of
SVDP 2.0 is from 06 June 2023 until 31 May 2024.
