Soo Sim has 20 years of experience in audit and assurance, listing and business advisory work. She handles both local and international companies covering a broad spectrum of industries like property development, mining, manufacturing, hypermarket, construction, trading, hotel, professional service organisation and many more.
Soo Sim has also been involved in audits for companies listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and has also been involved in due diligence review and corporate exercises engagements varying from acquisitions to initial public offerings and involving the review of profit/cashflow forecast and projection, preparations of Accountants’ Report and other reports for submission to The Securities Commission and inclusion in prospectus and circulars.
By working with the firm, she was able to gain international experience, providing her with a global perspective necessary to better assist her clients’ needs in an expanding global marketplace. She is familiar with the Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (“MFRS”) issued by the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board which is similar to the International Financial Reporting Standards.
